Ram

I am fascinated by the sheep in Ireland. Often painted bright colors as a means of identification, the sheep farmers there also seem inclined to leave tails on and allow horns to grow. I think it's a much more humane way to treat the animals, even if American sheep ranchers would probably say that clipping ears and inserting tags is more efficient, removing tails is cleaner and therefore healthier, and preventing horns through breeding or other means is safer. I would think the Irish sheep prefer it their way, personally :-).
