These flowers were everywhere we travelled in Ireland during summer. Everywhere I looked, flowers grew profusely. Hydrangeas, these flowers which remind me of Freesia, and especially whole hedgerows of pretty red Fuschias. It amazed me to find out that in a country with such an abundance of nectar-rich blooms, there are apparently no hummingbirds to take advantage of the bounty.
